Tired of the Hypocrisy
That's nasty but I can top it. My ex used to work at Jack in the Box. She was generally a pretty decent kid but when she got mad at someone she was pretty mean. She had this one girl who always mistreated her in high school and when she saw my ex working there she had to continue her pattern of abuse.
She told my ex that she wanted a fish sandwich with frings and a coke, so my ex grabbed a bun from the pillow and started to grill it when the girl told her that she didn't want one of the stale buns from the open pillow. She had to have a fresh one from an unopened pillow. So off my ex goes to the back where the bun racks were. She got her a fresh bun, stuffed it down under her pants and panties and rubbed the bun on her crotch. She then proceeded like normal and made her the sandwich. As far as I know she never told her, but I like to think that she did sometime...
What a B!

I have a lot of them but this one my wife told me takes the cake!
My wife was about 15 yrs old and was attending the bookstudy at this sister's house. The sister's hubby was a non-believer but her daughter was a jw and was married to my wife's uncle who was also a jw. The study had been at this home for over a year and things were pretty normal for jw's anyways.
Until
Until one evening when the bookstudy was into the 2nd half and the sister's unbelieving mate came home drunk. He went to the back of the house and it was quiet for a moment then he started hollering for his wife to go back there with him. Well, she went back there to shut the door and tell him to stfu and then she returned to her seat. Well about a minute later the guy came out wearing only his wife-beater tee shirt and nothing else. He steps out from the hallway with a semi rigid dingus dripping prostate secretion fluid. This produced a horrifying reaction from most of the study attendees, a humorous one from my wife's uncle, and a happy one from the man. He kept on shouting Ven paca' vieja nalgona! Mira, se le esta caendo la baba! La baba! Tranlastion: Come here big-bottomed woman! It's drooling for you! It's drooling!
He took his wife by the hand and took her to their bedroom and the festivities began. The conductor actually tried to keep the study going! Even as everyone could hear the goings on in the back of the house. What an idiot. My wife had never seen a grown man naked before so she was traumatized, her uncle was laughing his head off, and the guy's daughter was crying. Everyone sort of just left the conductor and reader sitting there.
No prayer was said.
The bookstudy was moved.

"No, but it has been my experience that most jw men with a propensity for violence usually only have the courage to beat their wives in private."
AMEN to that!

I saw a couple of kids fight over my sister after a meeting once. It was really funny too since she didn't even like either of them...LOL

Do you hate America because it's where wts was born?
by rebel8 ini wonder if some of the palpable anti-american anger is because it's where wts was born.. i'm not interested in political views.
heard ya loud and clear, over and over.
i'm also not interested in posts about how stupid americans/their culture is and how smart the rest of the world is.

I Have To Touch It...Saddest Thing I've heard in a Long Time
by Tired of the Hypocrisy ini think i posted on here that i went to the memorial last week.
my wife's dad has been a jw for over 50 years and has never missed a memorial before.
he has been getting sicker and sicker and his wife the star pioneer still does nothing for him.

"Do the JW's visit your FIL at home???Or is it out of sight out of mind???"
Pretty much out of sight out of mind. Another sad part about the visit was seeing him interact with the elders who came up to him. He asked the both of them when they were going to go visit him. They both said soon. They did the same thing the previous memorial. He is neglected by them.

"would you feel just as bad about the catholic religion?"
I have a special outrage for the Watchtower. But if he were Catholic and went through what he did I would still feel the same.

"If he is still living next year, is is possible to have an elder bring the emblems by his house so he does not have to struggle to go the kh?"
I hope so. I can remember 15 years ago my own dad who was of the anointed was in the hospital dying when the memorial approached. We spoke with the elders about the situation and the idea they came up with was to have him partake if he was still alive thirty days AFTER the memorial. I wonder if they will even off to help my father in law.
